Phillips HR1869 - My review

phillips hr1869
The Phillips HR1869 juicer is one of the best juicers I've come across. In fact, with this machine I don't even have to cut fruits anymore. Before I would cut my apples into smaller pieces so they wouldn't get jammed in my other juicer. It was still a mess and I never could get it to work right. I recall one night when I was trying to cut a few fruits and ended up cutting my finger. It was a painful experience and my dessert was ruined.

Unlike the look of the stainless steel juicers that I didn't like, Philips was amazing in every way possible. For example, the base was made of a fine black plastic and had clear plastic at the top. Removing the top part is fairly easy so I can wash it right after I use my juicer. I tend to clean up right away so that way the food doesn't become "caked on" to the plastic top.

I've been able to fit three oranges in the plastic tube and they moved into the juicer without any issues. I was absolutely amazed at the quality of this machine and it even helped me prepare meals quickly. Most of the time I spend two hours making food in the kitchen but the Phillips HR1869 allowed me to cook meals in just one hour. I had more time to clean up the house and do other things like tend to my children.

Another thing that I’ve enjoyed about this juicer is that it makes up to 2.5 litres of juice. The feeding chute is considered “XXL” for a juicer and because of this, there is no need to cut anything. I prefer using the soft speed for my fruits while frozen vegetables will be blended on a higher speed. With the 700 W motor, I never have to worry about blending. It works the same, each and every time!
